Instant photography fans unite! oh, pearlescent☆ is proud to introduce a new service that could cater to the likes of all the polaroid lovers out there: polaroid rentals!This is the perfect opportunity for those who wish to dabble in instant photography, but yet not willing to make the investment (it cost over a hundred for the standard ones and up to a few hundreds for the rare/prettier ones!) to buy a whole new one for yourself. The cameras themselves make for a great prop in a photoshoot as well! Polaroid cameras are the epitome of vintage photography and dare I say, the new Fujifilm cameras does seems a little more lacking in comparison. Plus, an extra tidbit for all of you: Lady Gaga is now the proud director of The Polaroid Company! How's that for supporting your favorite pop-star?! ;) Note: Please do the necessary research/homework before renting a polaroid from me. I'll not be entertaining questions such as "where do you get the films from", "how is it different from the fujifilm cameras?" as well as "where do you get your cameras from?". Such questions are to be answered at my own discretion and there's a high chance that questions of such nature will be ignored. Frequently asked questions:  Are you selling the cameras? I'm really interested in purchasing one!As of now, I'm just renting the cameras. However, if you're really interested in a specific camera and is willing to pay a relatively high price (be prepared to pay more than hundred for one...) for it, please let me know and I'll try to get a new camera for you to purchase. That said, the availability of stocks is not under my control. It is subjected to unforeseen circumstances and there's no guarantees for that. Will there be other models that's up for rentals too?We are working on bringing in more cameras, but as you can tell, our business relies mainly on customers' demands. There's no point in bringing in a specific model if there's nobody interested in renting it. So, if you're interested in any specific model, please do let us know (contact details can be found here) and if there's enough demand for that specific model, we will bring it in. As a heads-up, there's a high possibility of us bringing in the Barbie camera as well as the pink & red CoolCam. ;) Stay tuned for more information! Where do you get your cameras from?That'd be a trade secret and it will be hard to let you in on that. If you're just concerned about authenticity issues, please rest assured that the cameras are all authentic goods from The Polaroid Company. The cameras are all imported from overseas as well. Does the camera comes loaded with film?No. You'll have to purchase the films yourself. Questions regarding the polaroid films will be ignored. Where can you get films? / Can you get the films for me?As mentioned before, questions of such nature will not be entertained. Before renting the polaroids, you have the responsibility to research on these relevant information. I'll not be purchasing the film for you. If you're uncomfortable with the above arrangements, I highly suggest that you do not rent the camera. |
